GRAND REPORTAGE ENSEMBLE is an extensible trio produced by the saxophone player Jérôme Correa with the bass player Olivier Nussbaum and the drummer Vincent Boillat. In GRAND REPORTAGE ENSEMBLE's compositions we find various elements and influences borrowed to free-jazz, rock, repetitive, contemporary or electronic music. Asymmetry in bar's construction, the way of playing covers nevertheless a more rock or jazz aspects by the instrumentation, energy and musicians' relationship with sounds. Sometimes written, sometimes improvised, the musical moments are built on the interaction between the different protagonists. A free, dynamic, and adventurous music.
